This is possibly the longest distance between episodes of any anime I've ever watched. Each time a new one was released I'd re-watch the others :P

I quite enjoyed it. This could easily dethrone Elfen Lied as being the most violent modern anime, although only in scale not duration. The bloody climax is amazing, however, and the take on hero masochism awesome. I also love the modern take on Shinto lore.

It's a short OVA, so you have nothing to lose here. Definitely one of my favorites :)
